Yarlung Tsangpo, Lhasa, Tibet

Yarlung Tsangpo or Yarlung River is a river that originates at Tamlung Tso lake in western Tibet, southeast of Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar. It later crosses the Himalayas and is known as the Brahmaputra before emptying in the Bay of Bengal. The river’s course is about 3000km long, making it one of Earth’s major rivers.
